Dental Crowns Hawaii

Dentist talking with patientThe Premier Dental Group HI team offers you a broad range of services to boost your oral health and improve the look of your smile. Dental crowns, also referred to as caps, are a restorative option that is suitable for teeth that are

  • Broken
  • At risk for fracturing
  • Cracked
  • Decayed
  • Discolored
  • Poorly shaped

Crowns, which are suitable for patients of all ages, can also be affixed to a dental implant, used to attach a dental bridge, or used after a root canal to strengthen the affected tooth.

The Benefits of CEREC Crowns

Our Hilo location offers crowns made on the same day with advanced CEREC technology, which uses CAD/CAM. With this state-of-the-art system, we can complete your appointment for a crown in a single visit. Because a CEREC crown is fabricated to be the ideal size, shape and color to best complement your smile you can enjoy greater self-confidence and function. These crowns also are highly durable and can last for years—even a lifetime—if taken care of properly.

The Process for Receiving a Crown

Regardless of which office you visit for your crown, we will ensure that the process is smooth. Once we have determined that a crown is the most suitable option for your situation, we’ll gather the data we need to have it custom-created. Impressions are taken of the area, then sent to a laboratory so the crown can be made to fit you perfectly.

After the crown is sent back to our office, we’ll see you for a second appointment (unless, of course, you have a CEREC crown made at our Hilo location) where the crown will be cemented into place.

If you’re ready to find out more about how we can enhance your smile with a crown, contact us today! Insurance coverage can be used for your appointments.
